Siliken was present in the Intersolar fair in San Francisco
Jul. 18, 2008. The renewable energy company begins operations in San Diego, California
In the International Intersolar Fair 2008, the Siliken Renewable Energy company presented its standard and architectural integration solar panels. The company’s solar panels have been upgraded for improved efficiency and present important new features.
SILIKEN, one of leading manufacturers of solar panels, was present in the Moscone Center in San Francisco from July 15 to 17 with its own sales team and a stand (West Hall, Level 3, 9514), where it introduced several of its products and services. This fair is the largest fair of its kind covering the solar panel, solar heating and solar architecture industries. The organization expects an attendance of more than 10,000 visitors.
High quality panels, consultancy and after sales service
Siliken’s solar panels, made from monocrystalline or polycrystalline silicone, are known for their quality, efficiency, robustness, reliability and durability. They can be used in stand-alone or grid-connected systems, solar panel plants (commonly referred to as solar parks), industrial roofing or home use installations. Their power output ranges between 8 and 235 Wp and their efficiency reaches as much as 14.5%. Siliken’s solar panel qualities have been chosen by customers looking for installations made with durable and reliable products. These products have a minimum service life of 25 years preventing deterioration in efficiency that directly affects investment yield.
Siliken also provides an added value for all its customers and installers through its technical consultancy service. This purpose of this service is to solve any questions regarding solar panel systems and to offer a fast, efficient after sales service. Apart from the product itself, this manufacturing company from Valencia supplies the entire range of accessories required to start up the installation, everything from inverters to connectors.
The SILIKEN stand was visited by professionals from the solar panel industry sector and possible end clients interested in renewable energies. This year’s Intersolar fair was the company with the opportunity to learn about new market trends and needs, consolidate previous business relationships, establish new ones and, of course, exhibit its products and strengthen its corporate image.
Siliken begins operations in the USA
Siliken Renewable Energy is present in San Francisco after the recent inauguration of a solar panel production plant in San Diego, California, that will produce approximately 4MW of power during 2008.
Apart from presenting its manufacturing and direct sales activities in the North American market, Siliken will market turn key projects for end clients.
This step into the California market is part of the company’s international market and vertical integration strategy. The aim is to enter the competitive USA market and consolidate its presence in California in order to take on new renewable energy projects in other states.
In spite of the absence of regulation for electricity production fees, as is found in several European countries, the legal framework is favorable for solar panel installations. The weather conditions are ideal for solar panel installations and this state has the highest degree of social awareness regarding renewable energies and sustainable development.
