Siliken introduces Its energyBox Photovoltaic Kit in the British Market
17/04/2012. The energyBox PV system is a tailor-made installation kit for all types of residential and industrial rooftops.
Siliken offers a free technical consulting service and provides fitters with an online rooftop configuration tool
Siliken has presented its energyBox at the Ecobuild Fair held in London this week. The new PV system is designed to be installed on residential and industrial rooftops. Unlike other kits currently available in the market, Siliken’s energyBox provides installers with a choice of over one hundred structure solutions that adapt to any type of residential or industrial rooftop. Moreover, the kit is scalable and therefore allows covering any rooftop size by connecting several energyBoxes.
energyBox includes all of the necessary components for any residential or industrial rooftop PV installation, such as modules, structure, suitable inverters as well as electrical components (AC/DC connection boxes, counter, cables, and connectors). All of these elements have been specifically selected to ensure the best performance, which results in a fully optimised system, both electrically and mechanically. energyBox is part of Siliken’s continuous development; the company is constantly investigating the market needs to be able to offer effective solutions.
[+info]Siliken Stands out in France with its New 72-Cell Modules
17/04/2012. Deployment of the new SLK72P6L or SLK72M6L modules entails the installation of 20% fewer modules for the same power, saving components, cutting operating costs and installation time.
Siliken has opted for the EnR Fair (Salon des Energies Renouvelables) in Paris to introduce its new 72-cell monocrystalline SLK72M6L and polycrystalline SLK72P6L modules in black and white version. New in this product is that in order to install the same power, 20% fewer modules are needed, therefore saving components, cutting operating costs and installation time. Siliken’s 72-cell modules are already available in Europe and America, which is in line with the company’s policy to release its new technology globally. The maximum power generated by the polycrystalline modules is 305Wp with +3/0% tolerance. They are UL, TÜV and Intertek certified for worldwide applications. The efficiency of the polycrystalline modules is up to 15.7% and that of monocrystalline modules peaks 16%.
[+info]Siliken goes one step further in its commitment to the environment obtaining the Carbon Footprint Certificate
17/04/2012.
Siliken is one of the few PV companies in the world that has achieved the Carbon Footprint Certificate for its SLK60P6L modules in accordance with the PAS 2050:2011 standard. The certificate was awarded by the EQA certification body (European Quality Assurance Spain) and it is based on the calculation of the total direct and indirect GHG emissions from the entire process of manufacturing to handing the SLK60P6L modules to the client. Siliken modules currently emit 213.82 kg of CO2 per manufactured panel.
Committed to the environment, Siliken has applied for this certificate to be able to assess the actual impact of its business on the environment. Using these data, the company will develop measures to reduce the CO2 emissions. Plans have already been made for 2012 to calculate the reduction in CO2 for each installed module and thus generate clean energy in any geographical area. This way, an actual saving of CO2 emissions can be seen and measures can be defined to improve these figures.
